Submerged Decaying Ballroom

A submerged, abandoned and decayed sumptuous salon covered in algae and grime lost beneath dark, murky, yellowish water. Missing floorboards. A grand staircase with broken steps and statues. Crumbling statues. Crystal chandeliers lie across the floor partially buried in sediment and thick silt. Fine dust and particles float through the water creating a hazy, dreamlike atmosphere. Wilted, lavish bouquets of flowers. Translucent jellyfish with very long filaments slowly glide through the turbid water their bioluminescent bodies illuminating the forgotten luxury. Sickly, dim, yellowish light filters through tall, arched, dirty glass windows with panes covered in algae and grime. Brown-yellowish fog. Shafts of sunlight filter through the windows illuminating the particles in water. Surreal underwater atmosphere.
