Beneath the clear, arching expanse of the Milky Way galaxy, an eye-level composition rendered in rich blacks and grays uses leading lines to guide the eye to two lacewings, dramatically illuminated by neutral hard uplighting that casts strong shadows: one, a vision of bright emerald green with metallic golden eyes, unmarked hyaline wings, and long filiform antennae, contrasts with its companion, a study in light brown featuring a coppery bronze eye sheen, wings detailed with dense net-like venation, and moniliform antennae.
