From an extreme low-angle worm's-eye view, a collection of approximately seven buckeyes, each rendered with the sharp precision of mechanical or architectural subjects as if part of a deliberate installation, forms a radial balance: a petite specimen gleams with a subtle sheen; nearby, a standard-sized dark brown buckeye reveals occasional tiny indentations and a smooth hilum surface; another, perfectly globular and highly symmetrical, boasts a chestnut brown hue and naturally worn smooth texture; a fourth, a rich mahogany marvel, is highly glossy and polished to unblemished smoothness; then an organically irregular, average-sized buckeye in pristine condition presents a creamy white matte hilum; a noticeably large, reddish-brown counterpart displays a broad hilum surface; and completing the array, a deep chocolate brown ovoid buckeye shows faint surface striations, entirely free of cracks or chips, all dramatically set against the fiery glow and showering sparks of a working steel foundry, under dim, low-key frontal lighting with a neutral color temperature.
